Previously, the B2B shop from Ducos required orders to be entered twice, as the two systems were not integrated. Consequently, DUCOS launched the “ProPharma Interface Integration” project this year and, after an intensive testing phase, has now successfully completed it. Effective immediately, Ducos provides a technical integration with ProPharma—another milestone toward even more efficient collaboration and optimized workflows. Thanks to this new interface, orders can still be placed as usual via ProPharma, but order confirmations now come directly from Ducos, ensuring a seamless link between ordering and delivery.
A smooth process is thus guaranteed—from the order to the receipt of goods. Status messages verify that the ordered products are in stock at Ducos and that the order units are correctly entered. Once the order is confirmed, the delivery precisely matches the order details, allowing it to be quickly recorded in the drugstore’s inventory management system.
Cost Control and Discounts in Focus
Another benefit of the integration is the transparent display of shipping and discount costs. Any applicable shipping fees and invoice discounts are clearly shown, allowing the order to be optimized. This flexibility provides targeted cost optimization and transparency.
By connecting to ProPharma, DUCOS increases efficiency and transparency in its collaboration with drugstores and establishes new standards for forward-looking digitalization in specialty retail.
